The Packline Company is proud to have served the packaging industry for over 65 years. We'd like to extend many thanks to our customers, suppliers, and employees for our on-going growth and success. We've enjoyed and look forward to working with you to help bring success to your packaging operations.
Founded by S. Remsen Ryder III and Rice G. Fitzpatrick, offering a complete line of industrial packaging materials, calling it The Packline Company. Located in the Transportation Building in Detroit.
Became one of the first distributors for International Staple and Machine, inventor of the retractable anvil stapler.
Added stenciling, stitching wire, strapping and tape product lines.
Moved to larger building on Schafer Rd., in Dearborn.
Moved again to larger building on Oakman Boulevard, in Dearborn, MI.
Packline Service Department established
Stephen R. Ryder IV joins company...
Rice Fizpatrick retires. Packline incorporates
Move to larger building on Reeck Road, in Southgate.
S. Remsen Ryder III retires. Company purchased by brothers, David and Stephen R. Ryder IV.
Sthephen R. Ryder IV buys David Ryder's interest in The Packline Co. Steve's wife, Lynne, joins the Packline team.
Awarded Signode Distribution franchise
Moves to modern, new building on Fritz Dr, in Trenton, MI.
